Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). "Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"The bed here was very comfortable and much better than numerous Travelodges we've stayed in recently. Despite it being a twin turned into a double the join wasn't very noticeable and the mattress was very comfortable. The only gripe for me was the shower head did look aged and the drain in the wet room didn't clear the floor quickly enough so you're stood in 2inches of water by the time you've finished but grab bars in all the right places. As a wheelchair user I found everything very accessible and would stay again. You do need to go into the pub for check in and handing the key back. We didn't eat there but did plan to, maybe next time! "
