This was a wonderful place to stay. If you are looking for a High-End Tourist Experience, this is not it. It's a basic CLEAN hotel. However, it had what many hotels lack: a friendly atmosphere that made it seem like home. Whether coming or going, the staff always gave me a friendly smile & asked if I needed anything. I really didn't want to leave! Quiet is HIGH on my list and it was great. I also enjoyed the fact that the street was a nice, normal street and not filled with roaming drunk tourists. It was an easy walk to all of my destinations. The WiFi wasn't working at the station in my room, but I was able to connect to another on the list -- not always the strongest signal, so if you're working remotely, this might not be the best choice. It was fine for what I needed, however. There wasn't a hair dryer in my room, but the receptionist was able to provide one for me, as well as a large umbrella on the days that it poured rain. I was disappointed to find out that breakfast was not available as stated in the ad, however, coffee was prepared and available every morning near reception. For breakfast, there's a very affordable and cute place right on the corner. The pillows were a little too hard, so I think they should invest in a few soft ones to give guests a choice. The pool and patio area were lovely. Lots of interesting and beautiful plants. SUPER relaxing. I will definitely consider coming here again.

Nice and quiet area. Staff was fantastic. Coffee is available in the lobby every morning. Fresh water from a water cooler is in the lobby which was a great convenience. There's a turtle pond, and the pool area and outdoor shared kitchen are nice. Kudos to Edouardo at Reception for being so professional and helpful.

Nice little place! Stayed for one night before crossing to Cozumel. Close to everything and many restaurants, 5 mins to ferry terminal which is why we stayed there. I recommend this place, staff very friendly!

Wonderful attention to detail. Clean white linen and towels. Hot shower. Fresh coffee in am. Super clean!!! Pool area and pavillion with outside shower and bathroom. Full kitchen for use. Front desk staff very friendly speaking english very well. Carlos and Eduardo were outstanding. Always helpful and accomodating. Top of our list having stayed in Playa at 6 different places. Valuse for money is great. Looking forward to returning there

neat, great location. A welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch. We only stayed in the hotel for rest at night, so don't know and can't say much about the facility. The taxi front desk arranged for us was not big as promised. Four of us end up squeezed in the back seat, as we were rushing to the airport. Other than that, was a nice stay.

Pros: Good central location short walk from beaches, ADO bus station, Cozumel ferry. Helpful staff recommended good tours at decent prices. Clean. Cons: Base from music nearby made it noisy at night, particularly from 10pm-2:30am (changing rooms didn't help). Hot water could be hit/miss at off-peak times (afternoon, late at night).

Great Location, close to everything

The hotel is located close to 5th ave, but far enough away to avoid the noise issues. The room was basic, but clean, and the shower worked well. Hot water was never an issue, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Exactly what you need to experience entire Yucatan

Great central place to stay if you want to see what the peninsula has to offer. Cozumel, Chichen Itza, Tulum, Xcaret and Cancun. ADO station 10 min walk (pass by amazing taco stands on the way). Has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including the all important fridge. Modern amenities and conveniently located. Excellent night time security.
