"I can't say enough great things about the Four Columns Inn, ALL of the staff, the property. My last minute decision to make a resevation at the Inn for a few days stay was exactly what I needed to reset. I did work while there, but it hardly felt like work in such a pleasant and peaceful environment. Thank you, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Samantha (appreciated the extra effort and your assistant who helped with tea ;) ), and the little one who taught me a little extra about bees and her mom for great conversation! I shall return. :)"

"Good location. Nice complimentary breakfast. Staff were friendly. Room was clean. As has been mentioned by other guests, there is a $300 security deposit which is refunded upon check out. Although staff stated it might take 2-3 business days for the refund to appear, mine was refunded the same day I checked out."

"This was such a delightful treat. The property is renovated and every room is beautifully decorated yet unique. The common areas are beautiful and offer every small detail you could want. From fresh cookies, s'mores kits, bonfire kits, board games and a record player with plenty of musical choices. This property offers free breakfast daily. The breakfast was delicious with fresh granola, muffins, cereal, fruit, and yogurt. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful. They live on the property and are available if you need anything. The views from the property are spectacular. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again."

"Rooms and beds were very comfortable. Shower was great - everything was great except the rugs inside the rooms are old and felt damp always. Maybe it was more about the humidity but they just felt gross. I really enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and being able to go up to the village which had so many wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. I saw a Neil Young tribute band and that was so much fun. Carpets aside, I would stay here again I think they just need updating. It is a perfect location with many amenities."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Gentian Inn! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere made us feel right at home. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the area. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Blue Gentian Inn to anyone looking for a charming and comfortable getaway!"

"I feel the 8.6 is much too overrated. A 7, maybe. Old building, needs a facelift. Clean, but does not feel as a happy place. Old rugs. Very dark ( but clean) rooms. Felt like in a cave. Manager had no people skills, not welcoming. Will not stay there again. Put a little money into the place!"
