“Fantastic, cosy and incredibly elegant little pub with really good bedrooms. Staff were friendly and helpful”

“Lovely stay in a beautiful area with a very comfortable room. They had all the amenities you could possibly need and the pub/restaurant attached to the Inn served a delicious breakfast. Great atmosphere for hanging out in during the evening time also. We will be back if we ever find ourselves in the area again.”

“Very spacious and clean room and great location”

“Very nice downstairs room, including a very cool ceiling and a cozy wonderful warm atmosphere. The room was smaller than we expected, including the toilet, where it was hard to maneuver between the toilet and the sink. However, we managed just fine and we thought it was very good value for the price. Breakfast was wonderful!”

“The gym was good. The bedroom very large but not inviting, the colours drab very dark. Very cold. No heating untill 4.30 for a few hours. Fortunately we were able to get an extra heater and managed to get air con to blow out warm air. It was obviously just renovated but not by a woman, as no plug sockets near mirror to do hair. The lighting very dull. As the room was so big a sofa would have been nice. Breakfast not very warm, also dining room could do with being warmer. Choice of food not...

“(Lake view room) Excellent hotel in a beautiful area. The rooms have everything you could need, they are clean and are very well maintained. Friendly staff in the hotel and in the surrounding restaurants. Highly recommend the Gateway Cafe for brunch.”

“Breakfast was good quality. My room was up three sets of stairs in the attic. While of a good size, it wouldn't be easy carrying a suitcase to the room.”
