"Very nicely situated in old San Juan. Easy walk to everything. A bit noisy at night if you have room overlooking the Calle. But the Calle room has great views of old San Juan. "

"This property has ALMOST everything. Pros- Amazing location within short walking distance to anything that you could hope to see or anywhere you care to eat in Old San Juan. Spacious rooms with very comfortable beds, quality pillows and sheets, large showers with nice water. pressure, and in-room Nespresso machines. Amazing architecture with see-through floors in common areas with a view from the ground floor all the way to the roof top restaurant. Roof top deck with views of the city Cons - Some rooms do not have window. If you are claustrophobic, make sure to call the hotel and let them know that you need a real window. Slow and small elevators. They’re real creepers and only large enough for two people if you have luggage. Luckily, there are two of them. A wee bit pricey, but you’re getting what you pay for. Overall thoughts: while we would probably try to find less expensive rooms if we could, we wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Alma."

"They charge you for everything, they charge you for property taxes every single day they charge you for the parking lot $15 every single day, they charge you $100 for deposit every single day son on that day when I check in I have to pay $550.40, you ask for things like towels, toilet paper etc etc and they don’t help you, they tell you to send an email so they can take it to you so they can charge you, the breakfast was the same menu every single day they only had egg, sausage and potatoes, I will never take my family again, for that price that I pay I can have all inclusive in one of the best hotels in Cancun."

"Zero hot water and completely underestimated how loud the street would be. If you want to party in old San Juan until 3am this is a great place to stay. However if you are a family of 5 this is probably not the right spot. "

"Room was clean and only problem was the thermostat kept going lower. The bartender, Nathaniel was wonderful as were the food and drinks in the first floor lounge. "

"The staff I encountered were very polite and things were fine. I did however observe how some staff treated other guests and I thought it was rather rude. I’m not certain of the cause but no matter, it was not good. There were pipes that leaked in the hallway. The wine and drinks were flowing which made up for the not so nice accommodations. The floors in my room needed a good cleaning and the bathroom was not the best. It worked for what we needed. One night stay before heading to cruise ship. I would have paid to help take my bags to the room. I was declined assistance. "
