“We stayed in the Slab Huts, they were a very authentic feeling replication of slab timbered, but with insulated corrugated iron roofed huts, very roomy with great facilities and gave a true feeling of outback history. They were large and extremely comfortable and exactly what was portrayed on their website. We totally commend the operators who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. ”

“ Great location to bases yourself at Cape Tribulation. This effectively is the end of the 2 wheel drive road. Our King hut was comfortable had a bathroom with shower, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. In a semi private area the porch with outside chairs and table was a nice spot to relax. The shared facilities at the camp were great, good bathrooms, a large kitchen, refrigeration and coin operated washing machines. The on site Cafe offers breakfast and lunch. “This is a magical place nestled near the entrance to the Daintree Forest. My family hiked the nicely maintained and well-documented trails next to the Mossman river, swam in it, also enjoyed the pool that the hotel maintains. The wine and cocktail tastings every evenings are a great way to wind down the day, the meals were simply sumptuous - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had so much good food!
