AC didn’t work really well.
Neighborhood is nice and the hotel is well priced.
We were out all day and would easily walk back or catch trains.

i have very mixed reviews about this hotel. in terms of cleanliness, location, and amenities i loved it! what i didn’t love was the $500 smoking fee i received from the smoke detectors “detecting nicotine and vapors” in my room. mind you, i have never smoked anything in my LIFE. like ever. and this hotel has a strict no smoking policy, which i 100% agree with and would abide by. when i went to the front desk to ask about this, the concierge i saw was the sweetest girl ever and she pulled up the report. the 2 times it detected “nicotine and vapors”, we weren’t even in the room!!! it was so frustrating. luckily she was very sweet and handled it since it was obviously a mistake. after this, we made sure to only use the hair dryer, hot tools, and anything else that could produce smoke in the bathroom with the door shut ONLY, and to make sure the bathroom door stayed shut after a shower until all the steam was gone. shockingly enough, after we started doing this we never got another “smoking” detection. it was a frustrating situation and seemed like a way to trap people who won’t stick up for themselves, or who may be from another country, who wouldn’t understand. also frustrating that this happened to me, and then multiple times i walked into the lobby and it smelled like weed. hopefully they can get this extremely overly sensitive, or non working detectors fixed soon! because of this though, i won’t stay again.
