“The rooms are big and clean. The grounds are immaculate. The bar/swimming pool area is top notch. The staff are the friendliest nicest and most accommodating people I have ever met…and I am already booking my next trip back to stay there. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars I would!!!!!”

“This hotel was one of our favorite things about a 10-day trip to PR. We we loved the quiet retreat, including being able to stargaze and hear the birds. The open-air style of the room was fantastic -- we stayed dry during rain and saw very few bugs. Carmen and her team are friendly and helpful. The pool is also beautiful! It was well worth the stay a few minutes outside of either town.”

I had requested an electric kettle and a microwave, and they promptly provided them. All the staff were kind, but I wish the front desk staffs could be a bit friendlier. “Just a classic resort. La Casita gives a family a wonderful apartment to enjoy it from. Every morning a shuttle (golf cart or van) will take you and your family to the resort where you walk through the beautiful lobby, then onto a funicular and then to a ferry ride to Palomino Island. That may seem like a bit of work but it’s totally worth it. Palomino is fabulous. Its restaurant and staff are also top notch. Or if you want to not move so much the pools are beautiful and close by.
