“Nice location in beautiful St Ives. Close to station, Porthminster Beach and a bustling harbour with lovely shops and restaurants. Very nice staff. Large, Comfortable room overlooking sea. Due to hotel only having a couple of parking spaces, the nearest car park was down a steep hill with lots of steps which would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

“Our stay at Higher Trenear Farm was amazing.
We stayed in one of the Mongolian yurts, which was unlike any other accommodation we've experienced and really added to the charm — it was the main reason we booked. The yurt was rustic yet very comfortable, perfect balance.
We loved being surrounded by farm animals and lush greenery — it made the whole stay feel peaceful and special.

“The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent
However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows.
Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill.

However, room service was not provided during my 3-night stay that made the atmosphere a bit chaotic, especially the toilet hygiene.
