โGreat location. We were in town for Fiesta, and the place was perfect to go to all the festivities. Walking distance to good food. The address was a little confusing, but all worked out in the long run. A little cramped for two people getting ready for formal events. Would be great for a TDY or place to stay for a while on business. Laundry facility was a bonus! โ
โVery helpful and friendly staff. Hot breakfast was waffles. Clean room. Bathroom needed updating but everything worked. Good price per night. Soft pillows were a bonus. Only concern our AC froze up but after turning it off for few hours it work fine again. It's perfect walking distance from river Walk and shops. Only con was pool was out of service. โ
โThis place was exactly what we needed. We were staying 1 night before the eclipse and just needed a place to crash. The beds were clean, the room was clean and we had no complaints except for thin comforters but we just pulled the 2nd one from the other bed. They also had a mini fridge, coffee pot and microwave which is becoming an uncommon thing. Would stay here again. Be ware of their intense speed bump in the parking lot. Even going less than 1mph my poor car's frame got a jolt. โ
โUpon arrival surrounding area was not inviting. Seemed slummy. Front porch steps broken and unlevel. Looked unkempt. Front door window was very large. Could view inside home with no secure feeling, no blind or cover up. Very neat appearance when entering, however could tell this was a very old home that was dolled up a little. Hardwood floors felt they would cave in at any moment, not clean, grouty and dirty. Could see foot print stains of shoe bottoms in the glare of the floor. Master bedroom...
โThe house was impressive on the outside when we arrived. Once inside, the initial impression was good. As we checked things out, though, we found some things that we were not happy with.
The fan in Master bedroom did not work. The remote control had corroded batteries in it. I did find a new battery in a drawer and tried to make it work, but it never did.
The floor in Bath 2 was very soft and sunken right in front of the bathtub and there was a gap between the bathtub and the floor. We did...
