"Great hotel in beautiful town of Furnace which is good hub. Private access to the outdoor Hot Springs in evenings after it closes to the public. Property is clean and staff were top tier. Recommend this hotel and glad we stayed here longer than hotels in larger towns on the island."

"Hotel Talisman is what I would call, "A hidden gem". Very nice and clean with a gorgeous roof top pool. It's located in the center of town at a pretty town square. It's also 1/2 the price of the close by large hotels. Wish we stayed here longer."

"Firstly, I must say that the staff at the VIP Executive Azores Hotel is by far the most professional, helpful and friendly staff we've ever interacted with. The service throughout our stay was exemplary. Our deepest thanks goes to restaurant staff Hugo, Paulo, Erica and Elizaura. Enrique at the reception desk was always helpful and ready to hear about our day. The hotel is perfectly situated to the City Centre, the harbour, the pineapple plantation and the botanical gardens. The restaurant meals were fantastic, from the breakfast and dinner buffets to the sit down service provided at lunch. Our room balcony faced the ocean, and the rooftop terrace provides a view of the harbour and the landscape. Great experience!"
