"We’ve stayed at many various hotels in Japan and have never come across a hotel where the staff have been as unhelpful and dismissive as the ones at Tokyu Stay Hakata. From the front desk staff to some of the restaurant staff. Linh at the front desk was particularly unhelpful. A female staff member who made our drinks at the restaurant was lovely and very friendly.
Hotel itself was basic, somewhat clean (the elevators were dirty, bathrooms need more thorough cleaning), comfortable beds, location was a 10-15 minute walk from Hakata station. The in room washer and dryer were great. They’ll only do a full clean of your room once every 7 days, you can pay extra for room cleaning/bed changing if needed."
