"Always nice to stay here. Our go to B&B. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Room was immaculate. Very comfortable bed. Fabulous facilities.
Pity the breakfast option wasn't available (due to unforeseen circumstances) but there are plenty cafes, restaurants etc on the doorstop that do the job just as well. "
"Great staff who made us feel really welcome. Really nice showers in the room we had and was great value. We paid for the executive room and beds were really comfortable."
"Great time. Enjoyed a meal in the Rib room. Spa facilities were super and definitely great getting us ready for a wedding, also dealing with the consequences from the wedding. "
"The pool was gorgeous. It was a bit tricky downloading the app on the phone to open the door. The app would just shut down and it took at least ten tries. Staff was wonderful. Helpful and kind. Dinner was average. I ordered a cauliflower steak which was good, but a very high price for just a large piece of cauliflower. The map to walk around the grounds was confusing and I ended up on the golf course, which didn’t make some
Of the golfers happy. Bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept in. "

"Stayed for 1 night.
Only bad thing was they don't cater for families as in having a double and single bedrooms. We had to pay an extra £50 for a camp bed to be added to our room. We had to upgrade to a junior suite as a standard wasn't big enough.
Having said that the room was beautiful, modern and very comfortable. The hotel had that new smell which was lovely. The carpets were plump, thick and lush.
We ate in the restaurant and had breakfast and all food was very tasty, a little expensive but thats what you should expect for this hotel.
We will be back. Overall great hotel."
"We booked the Copthorne Hotel as we had tickets to see Peter Kay at the Utilita Arena. We decided to turn it into a mini break staying at the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel was only a short walk from the arena and we also walked from the train station, again only a short walk. We had a lovely view of the River Tyne and two swivel chairs positioned in front of the window. It was such a good view that we spent each evening sitting in front of that window with a drink. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfy and reasonably clean, with a small fridge that you could stock yourself. There were tea/coffee making bits. We had a meal on the Saturday night at the hotel which was nice and I left my husband at the bar to enjoy the football. The room also had a hair dryer, fan, ironing board and iron. The water pressure was great so the shower was amazing. I would go back to this Hotel if I ever visit Newcastle again. It was just the perfect spot to walk to most destinations that we needed to get to and the room was a great space to relax in. Also if you are a runner take your running gear as it is a great place to enjoy a run along the river."
"This was our first visit here, we stayed for 2 nights and I've no doubt we will be back. Every staff member we met was warm, friendly, professional and extremely helpful. We upgraded our room to a Executive King & Single Room, the room itself was very clean, on a corner location and was massive with an amazing huge floor to ceiling window with city views, we took great delight in sitting having drinks at the table and chairs watching the world go by. We weren't disturbed by any street noise whatsoever. The bathrobes were so soft and fluffy, plenty towels, toiletries, teas, coffees, biscuits etc. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. Enjoyed sitting in the courtyard, lovely space. Our only bugbear was the lack of storage space, especially in such a large room and, while I don't mind living out of a suitcase for a couple of nights some shelf / drawer storage would have been good.
