“Breakfast - food selection was poor. No napkins; had to use paper towels. Had to ask for milk to be refilled. Swimming pool - unaware until check-in that was was not usable. Room - furniture was heavily soiled. Bedding was stained. Definitely not a decent value for the money. Would not recommend this property to anyone.”

“Nice beach location, dog friendly, very inexpensive. Building is dated, but clean rooms. Air conditioner was loud and did not work. ”

“I found this Cozy hidden hotel in Staples. Stayed 1 night. The reception was amazing and provided a lot of detail information about the area. My room was clean and equipped with towels & bodywash. The bed slept so good. If you are looking for a room in the area, I recommend EconoLux you want be disappointed. I plan to return in the fall. ”

“This place goes downhill every single year. We stay with a group for Christmas for the last 15 years. Wallpaper is peeling, you are charged for a “resort fee” but the pools aren’t even always working. Dining is subpar. Rooms are very dated and getting worse every year. I think it’s time for our family to move on from thumper pond. ”

“Easy check in, clean room, comfortable beds, heat/ac kept room comfy. Good selection for breakfast food. The staff were very helpful, friendly, always available. We really enjoyed our stay.
