"The hotel is a jewel in the heart of historic Castel Gandolfo. Our Superiore room was spacious, well equipped, and had a long balcony with a breath taking view of Lake Albano. "Nice place to stay far away from Rome. Excellent host and had a kitchen with entirely everything to use. I loved the Italian coffee she made for me and she did not hesitate to make it for me many times. Snacks was always around and she was an excellent host. "

"The photos definitely make it look like a 5 star hotel. I would give it a 2.5-3 at best. Make sure to not book if you can’t get the lake view. That’s the best thing about the hotel. No amenities. The pictures make the place look 10x better than it is. Underwhelming in person"
