“The breakfast had a a lot of good choices- hot waffles, hot eggs and sausage, as well as some other choices you don’t always see like probiotic yogurt and applesauce. The room was nice and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Overall a ver nice stay”

“The floor of our room was sticky. Very pet friendly. Breakfast buffet was not stocked well, specifically they were out of coffee the first day and out of hot water the next. To be fair, once I brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, they alerted the breakfast crew and they remedied the problem. ”

We had a group of 8 golfers and we were looking for somewhere near Auburn for a golf tournament and extra rounds that had good reviews and wasn’t ridiculously priced and this place was great. “This place is a basic motel, clean and serviceable for an overnight stay, but not very pleasant to hang out in. It does not look as nice as the photos online. The desk staff was friendly. The positives are that the location in Grass Valley is convenient and the price is very reasonable compared to many of the lodgings in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area.”

“Smelled of cigarettes. I found a cigarette butt under my bed. The floor was yucky. There was no waste basket. Electric outlets did not work properly. The cooling unit did not work properly. The bathtub was clean and I did enjoy a bath.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by how plush and nice the bedding was. The staff who assisted me at check-in and check-out were very helpful. The room was fine and had all the expected things. My two less than perfect comments are about the TV signal (on the channel we watched) was regularly lagging, so that the signal/picture had to catch up to the broadcast. “Everything was clean. The Staff is very nice and helpful. I do wish that they would bring back the in room coffee pots. Coffee was available in the lobby from 6am- 10am. All in all I was happy with my stay. I was surprised that all the rooms are indoors, not a typical Motel 6.👍”

“Repair work is need in the room that I stayed in, the toilet seat was loose and needs to be replaced. The body wash soap contain was completely empty. Hair was in the tub and the floor under the night stand was dirty. ”

“IHG/Expedia - NO HUMANS - I was unable to cancel my via the AI system. When I asked the AI if it was a human, it would only reply something like "I am a certified agent". I tried for over an hour through various chat bots. Never found a human. Was unable to cancel and get a refund. Was unable to make a complaint, even. NEVER USING EXPEDIA OR IHG AGAIN, UNTIL THEY HIRE HUMAN CUSTOMER SERVICE. ”

“The Desk staff was most accommodating and welcoming. The site is well maintained and clean. Five pillows on the King bed was nice. Breakfast was typical but did have sausage and beacon on different days. Walking distance to a couple of fast food establishments and very close to grocery shopping. Quick, easy access to the freeway. I felt comfortable with the parking.”
