"This hotel has a great location. Very walkable to just about everything Savannah has to offer a tourist. The historic areas and River Walk are right there to enjoy. The pool, restaurants and bars are great. It's just a really cool place to stay!"

"All of the staff at the Doubletree were super friendly. Check in and out was a breeze. Our first night was a little rough. We were on the 3rd floor (room 306) on the street side of the hotel. IT WAS EXTREMELY NOISY! I didn't get any sleep that night as I could hear every vehicle on the street. I asked to be moved the following day and was accommodated to move to room 521 on the city view side and it was much, much better. We had a view of the First African Baptist Church and City Market. Love the lobby area sitting room! It's very well decorated and a nice cozy spot to just sit and read or have a conversation. It was raining outside and I didn't want to just sit in the room, so I sat in this comfortable area and read. The hot tub/pool area could use some updating. The hot tub floor needs to be refinished. It looks horrible and makes you not want to get in it. The pool could have used some cleaning too although it wasn't that bad. The breakfast off the menu was better than the buffet. Oh and those cookies are delicious!"
