"My sister and I stayed from Wednesday night through Tuesday morning, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. Housekeeping never came to our room a single time during our entire stay. We repeatedly had to go down to the front desk to request clean towels and basic supplies, and even after mentioning it multiple times, no one was ever sent to service the room. We also used the parking garage down the street, which the hotel partners with. Each day, guests are required to notify the hotel before noon if they parked there. One day we left early and returned late, and I forgot to tell them. I understood that mistake was on me, and I contacted the garage directly and paid the $30 fee. However, the hotel then tried to charge me another $32 for the same night, saying I “knew the rules.” I did know the rule, and that’s why I paid the garage. Being charged twice for one night of parking was unreasonable, and they refused to remove the extra charge. I ended up paying $62 for one night of parking. To “make up” for the fact that housekeeping never came to our room, they removed a $32 charge for the morning we checked out—at 8:30 AM. That hardly felt like meaningful compensation for six nights without housekeeping and the double parking charge. The hotel is in a nice location and the breakfast was good, but overall the lack of service and the way the parking situation was handled means I would not stay here again."

"We loved our stay at the Hilton Garden In"

"So this is an old-literally!-property in the middle of Savannah’s historic area, with a bar and restaurant on the ground floor. The people were all very nice. Being older, it can be noisy (so can new places). Bathroom very clean except the heat grill. Soap bars like communion wafers, too thin to wash the father or the son or even the Holy Ghost. Like many places, no fan. Door would not stay locked. Thermostat would not adjust, office person said “oh yeah” came up and poked it with a pen (?!?!?). The office is not open all the time so we spent one evening being very cold. The TV, well, years in consumer electronics and I could only get it to function kind of randomly. I don’t know whether to blame Vizio, or FireStick, or YouTube TV or the remote. The internet is terrible, awful, alternates between weak and dead. The room had a fair amount of space, two wingback chairs, no desk, two refrigerators, a kind of entry space with small closet. Hangers completely not removable-polos or T-shirts etc could not be hung up at all unless you wanted to stretch the neck to size XXL. Grrrrr. Massive construction going on across the street, so if you like to party into the evening and sleep late it ain’t happening. Also the windows have shutters and gauze curtains so the room is never very dark in the night. It felt like we were in Iceland in summer again...though oddly we slept pretty well nevertheless. At a cheap place, eh. At what we were paying per night, never again."

"Room was quite small and the bathroom was tiny. We knew the square footage of the room but the bathroom was just too small. 2 ppl CANNOT be in there at the same time. Rooftops were nice. Parking is costly, $50 per day/overnight. Overall the stay was alright. Savannah is a nice & pleasant city to walk & explore. Lots of restaurants, historical buildings, and nightlife. We would go again. "
