“Stayed overnight on a Friday, and I needed to be at a venue for am, n ot realising that breakfast on a weekend begins at 8am! The staff were great and made me a drink and hot bap to go so I had something inside me. My partner went for the breakfast and absolutely loved it!”

“Quiet with parking. The restaurant was exactly what we were looking for. The room was ok. We almost locked ourselves in because the door handle fell off.”

“This is my favourite place to stay. Clean rooms with everything you need for a short stay. The food is amazing and plenty of choice. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend”

“Beautiful accommodation. Friendly staff. Great price including a wonderful breakfast.”

“Pleasant place to stay.”

“The Arms is a beautiful hotel, well maintained, in great shape, lovely staff and food and a nice room. The ONLY thing I would point out is that the tv channel options were limited and as my wife and I were fresh to the timezone it would have been nice to have some more channel choices when we couldn’t sleep.”

“All good . Quiet location Superb breakfast The Fat Abbot is very good too”

“A great place to stay with very helpful and pleasant staff.”

“The hotel was clean and conveniently located (about a 10 min walk from the railway station). It isnt super close to the city center (about 20 min), but the walk isn’t too strenous (no hills!). Would recommend.”
