"This was a beautiful hotel in an historic building, right on the Savannah River. There were a couple of small items that could have been improved upon, but certainly nothing that would keep us from staying there again. Walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Easy access to the Riverboat for a tour and the hop-on, hop-off bus."

"The hotel is an older building that has been updated. Everything looks nice but the cleaning could be improved. The floors were less than clean around the baseboards and clearly hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned for some time."

"We had a great stay. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff was great too. The breakfast i waited a ridiculous amount of time for and that end up being free wasn't so good. Overall we had a good stay!"

"Expedia booked the wrong rooms for us when we arrived…..bummer and shame on EXPEDIA. Thankfully Jermaine at Springhill Suites Savannah righted the wrong of Expedia and got us in the KING bed room we booked with Expedia on our second and third nights. The staff at Springhill Suites went above and beyond during our stay! I will stay with them again but will NOT book with Expedia in the future."

"No mini fridge’s in rooms or ice bucket. I have a medical condition that requires my medication to be refrigerated. When I expressed my dissatisfaction the girls at the front desk were very apologetic and offered to have a mini fridge brought up. I told them no need but an ice bucket would be sufficient. They quickly fetched a bucket and filled it with ice for me. Front desk service was outstanding. We found the room itself was complicated. Why do you need to put a card in the wall slot inside the room to operate the lights? Towel bars and/ hooks in the bathroom shower would be nice. There’s no place to put wet towels besides the floor! Room was a tad small but it served its purpose. The gathering area on each floor is a great meeting space with large screen TV and games. The coffee in room was not our favorite (pour and seep). Would’ve preferred a coffee maker. Location was great, not far from the river, parking garage across the street, shops and restaurants galore. The concept has just been open for 30 or so days. Extremely clean, and the roof top bar & pool area was fantastic. Even with the positive aeration pointed out, we probably will not return, only because we are a retired elderly (hate it admit) that likes things simple. Younger generations would probably love it more than us. Regardless, our 3 night stay in Savannah was great"

"Staff were always friendly and helpful from providing hot tea on chilly evening to helping navigate the city and historical places. Enjoyed complementary wine and music at 5:30 pm. Hotel is central to everything as we walked to everything. Very charming breakfast room. We will chose Marshall House again."
