“A very nice hotel in an historic building. The rooms were clean and well designed. That occupies an excellent location right in the center of town. Staff is very pleasant. The food was surprisingly good.”

“Lovely accommodating owners of the guest house. Nice room and bathroom. Area to sit downstairs and watch the TV, which was lovely. Surrounded by nice walks and a local pub. Breakfast was also nice. I cannot fault the place.”

“Excellent stay, although not a cheap option. Dog friendly, with fantastic grounds, however, not enough bins. Excellent staff throughout. Most food was excellent, disappointed though with seafood platter.”

“We stayed for 12! Days it was so good. Beautiful property in the heart of North Yorkshire - amazing selection of breakfast. Clean rooms and family-run, friendly service. Sometimes we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels - and we don’t change them everyday. Beds were old and could use updating for comfort. Otherwise - would highly recommend! ”
