“I ended up booking this on a lark, and what great fortune it was! The location, the attention to details, the fluidity of welcoming attentive and informative staff to impeccable grounds, made it a memorable stay. They combine high end service w/ a feeling of being at home, I will most definitely be booking with them again. Highlights: Spa inclusion w/ room stay (sauna, steam bath all pools especially heated outdoor!) location: coastal pathway to St Charles. Nature walks, no cars to everything...

“What a wonderful place to stay. Lovely little touches make it feel like home. Food was superb, breakfast cooked to order so nice and fresh. Great choice for evenings too. The gardens are awesome. It is a credit to Francesca, Mark and the rest of the staff. We will certainly stay there whenever we are in the area. ”

“Room was spacious, but under a function room, and the noise transmitted down. We had cool weather, and the room was warm. No aircon, so can imagine it would be very uncomfortable in hot weather. The room telephone and TV did not work when we got the room. Fixed the next day. TV was not networked, so no iPlayer etc. The Sundeck advertised with the room was a private patio outside. Ok, but not really private. Also cigarette butts not cleared away from previous occupants. Pool and gym ok...

“Good staff , food good , but no hot water in the sink or bath to wash in the morning it was stone cold. I told the manager who was very apologetic and said he would get it looked at.”

“Friendly & professional staff. Breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for example, requesting a bucket of soapy water / sponge to clean our car of seagull droppings every morning. Also, a guest in an above room to ours left his bath tap running & then laid on his bed to "rest" causing his room & ours, to flood! On informing the staff that there is a major leak happening into our room from above, they immediately contacted the other guest / stopped the bath overflowing & once...
