"We came to SF from Hawaii and planned our trip kind of last minute. I was did a lot of researching for places to stay. This was our first vacation without our kids in over 25 years. We were looking for something that was nice, safe, clean, walkable, affordable and comfortable and the chancellor met all the criteria. It was perfect! We had to check out of our air b n b by 12pm but check in wasn’t until 4pm. I called ahead and the front desk was so nice and told us to come in and see if any rooms were available and if not they could store our bags for us. We were so pleased to have a room available when we got here. The room was perfect. ! I would absolutely recommend the chancellor and will definitely visit again. It’s a perfect property. Mahalo! "

"I’d like to start by saying that I travel a lot for work and have stayed at hundreds of different hotels over the years. This hotel truly stands out, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The rooms were impeccable—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location is fantastic. The parking lot is spacious and easy to access, which made coming and going hassle-free. My room was well-equipped with convenient amenities like a microwave, mini fridge, a TV with a great selection of channels, and fast, reliable WiFi. Everything I needed was right there. I want to give a special shoutout to Tina at the front desk. I had a hectic itinerary, and she helped me navigate it like a champ—she was professional, patient, and went above and beyond. I stayed for an entire week and had a great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area. You won’t be disappointed!"

"Great location, nice and clean rooms equipped with the usual facilities. There was no coffee machine in my room (not sure about other rooms), but the main lobby has coffee and tea in the morning. I needed hot water, and when I asked for it, they promptly sent a kettle to my room. Location is great, close to lots of restaurants, Market St. and BART. Will definitely come back again. "
