The Pilgrim Inn is everything you're hoping for. Traditional setting, traditional vibe, and a team of staff that laugh hard, work hard, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food is outstanding and we can't recommend the English Pea Ravioli highly enough. We stayed for a week and could have happily stayed longer. Came in on a cruise ship. At 9:30 am we arrived by cab, not knowing if we would have to wait until 2:00 check in. They actually checked us in upon arrival and we were able to relax and not worry about dragging our luggage around. I would have given an excellent rating except for the carpeting that was quite stained in our room. The bar/restaurant was great with good food and beer. Saved us from going out.
