“One for the books for sure. We had booked several nights for our trip in South Dakota. My grandpa had passed away we were there for a funeral and had to bring the kids… so we booked for the pool and it was close to family…. Well we get there and the front desk gal was complaining that she was ready to go home and was going home after checking us in. I asked if we could book additional nights as things came up and family needed us to stay longer. She said no do it on Expedia wouldn’t even check...

“Terrible experience all around. Staff is very unfriendly and wouldn't issue a refund despite doing everything to said to do. The beds are absolutely terrible and when I mean terrible I mean rock hard. There is trash everywhere outside the building, very unpleasant looking. Breakfast is limited and the biscuits weren't done. ”

“Our heat in our room ran constantly. Even when turned off. Had to open our window to be able to sleep. The toilet was also leaking on the floor. ”

“Our stay was unfortunately cut short due to a family emergency. However, we absolutely loved the property. The refurbishing of the town hall was expertly done and very attractive. The bed was super comfortable (I believe the mattress was the same type as we have at home). If we ever make it to Lead in the future, we will be staying here. Also the partnership shared with the Stampmill restaurant made for convenient, friendly and delicious dinning! We loved it!”
