Great amusement park in the heart of St Petersburg. Four roller coasters are present, including the aptly named Big Roller Coaster (a classic ride manufactured by Schwarzkopf, pictured), a fantastic German-made super-smooth launched coaster, and another that goes upside-down ten times. The park also has a unique rocket ride that offers superb views over the city (if you don't mind being hung from a string travelling at 70kmph while rotating).

The Mariinsky Theatre is known as one of the best venues for ballet and opera in the world. The audience will be made up of a complete cross-section of society from little girls in their best dresses, with parents in the tuxedos and bow tie, through to tourists in their jeans and polo shirts. The inside of the building is stunning, very traditional and old-school. It's worth paying the 150 roubles to hire the binoculars, as it allows you to skip the queue to the cloakrooms when you return them. The chairs aren't the most comfortable though. You shouldn't visit St Petersburg without a trip to see something here - it's such a part of the cultural heritage of the city.

모르스코이에 명소가 많은 것은 아니지만 일대를 탐방하면서 Lenexpo 전시관 및 가스프롬 아레나 같은 곳에 가볼 수 있습니다.

The former city square of the Old Russian Empire, this square its famous for holding the 1905 Bloody Sunday and the 1917 October Revolution. A massive square just in front of the Hermitage Museum, its a popular destination where carriages, skaters and tourists mix up.

The statue in the middle is the Alexander Column, a 50 meters tall column thats unique of its kind. This enormous column was placed in the middle of Palace square to celebrate the victory of Russia over Napoleonic France. Unlike its ancient predecessors, at the top of the column there was not a statue of the respective emperor at the time
