“I have been to many places, but this was something else. The owner greeted me once I arrived, he didn’t speak much English but his daughter (?) helped me out. They are really nice people. The room I got was recently renovated, it looks modern and the shower was great. Unfortunately I couldn’t have a dinner there, because I arrived late, but there are many options around. Overall it was a great experience, nice breakfast and lovely welcoming family run business. I will definitely come back. ”

“If you want to experience the Swiss Alps in a true fashion, stay there. The pension is family run,you eat what they cook. There are no other restaurants around. There’s no tv but a room full of board games, fabulous views. Nights are quiet with only the stars and the sounds of the mountains around you for company. Sabine, the owner aims to please and is always busy finding solutions for unexpected events. No cars allowed and the only way to get there is with the funicular from Lauterbrunnen. For...

“Sauber, freundlich, bequem. Das Gemeinschaftsbad ist Geschmackssache, aber ich habe damit kein Problem gehabt. Ich habe hier sehr gut geschlafen und die Einrichtung ist sehr sauber. Nachts war es auch sehr ruhig und am Morgen habe ich allein die Kaffeemaschine gehört. Empfang war auch sehr angenehm und es gab keine Probleme. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.”

“A very charming osteria / hotel in a hillside location. The route up was not for the faint hearted - narrow road with lots of switchback turns, but worth it. The room was modest, but with lovely terrace with mountain views. Evening menu was limited but food was excellent, followed by very pleasant walk around the quaint village. Overall, quite pricey but very relaxing overnight stay. ”

“Nice appartement, its very pretty and the kitchen is fully equiped. Well situated in the centre of Tegna, the children took the train to Locarno while we went hiking and climbing in Val Maggia. Only minus point is the church bells, (you are in the centre of town!) but you get used to them after a couple of days. ”
