โThis is a great place to stay. Very handy for the town centre and Apex theatre. Itโs very well presented, clean and very friendly.

โReally friendly staff. Lovely sunroom to sit in near reception. Comfortable room with a modern and very clean bathroom. Helpful touch of a much needed fan in the room. Quiet in the room despite not being far from the main road. Helpful that Sainsburyโs is only a five minute walk away, but donโt forget to log your car on the iPads in reception before popping to the shop. โ
โ1 night stay for a ' hallf way' meet up with friends. Lovely friendly pub, made feel welcome, really comfortable bed with good quality bedding.
Breakfast good quality and lovely and hot. Only criticism would be, would have been nice to have had a pot of tea rather than individual cups at breakfast.

โThis was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv.
So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was.
Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good.
Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book.
