“The villa was clean, updated, and very comfortable. The view and the pool is beautiful. The bar had awesome happy hour drinks every day, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. My only issue was we charged food and drinks to the room instead of paying upfront and without getting a receipt. At checkout the bill was enormous and I had nothing to tabulate the added costs. Lesson learned.”

“Good bed and pillows. Luxury towels. Liked having mini fridge and a kettle. Milly and her daughter Emily are friendly and helpful. Water pressure was a bit weak but not a major issue for me. Good wifi. No TV but that is not a problem for me either. I would return. 10 minute walk to the airport or ferry. ”

“Lovely staff, nice clean rooms, air conditioning worked great. Only thing giving this a 4* is the bed/pillows. I personally did not find the bed very comfortable and I like a thicker pillow. Other than that the place was amazing. Great location. ”

“This place is such a hidden gem due to its newness. Love that it is off on the north island so you can enjoy some peace and quiet but having the luxury of the scheduled ferry boat to take you to the South Island is really great. The room is very clean and modern. Also the bar/restaurant staff are incredible and they have some great eats. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at La Isla Resort in Caye Caulker. The location is excellent—close to everything, especially great restaurants, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The rooms were clean and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the large veranda—it was the perfect spot to relax and sit out of the sun while still enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re visiting Caye Caulker!”

“Room was lovely with plenty of space to unpack and relax. There were 5 steps to take the elevator- weird, no ramp no nothing. Pool- I wouldn’t call that a pool- two meters wide and maybe 6 meters long - in the rooftop and completely covered- not a pool. Stay was comfortable and actually nice, with good location and walking distance to literally everything. I wish staff at the front was more knowledgeable”

“Check in as at the grocery store downstairs. Ac worked great. Quick 5-10min walk to basically everything in caye caulker. Luggage was carried up for us. Great place for the price. ”

“This hotel is old and needs updated. Nothing like the pictures in the photo . No elevators and stairs are not manageable especially after a long day of walking around the island. You have to ask for everything including towels. The rooms are dark and cold. No view except to a dirty yard space between buildings. If you are just using it to sleep then this is the hotel for you. It does not feeling like a vacation room on the cayes. Not worth the cost. Very disappointed will never stay here again....

“They picked us up from the ferry. The place was very clean. They changed the sheets and towels weekly. Very friendly. It would have been nice if they would have supplied drinking water. Would stay there again. Very affordable.”

“The staff was amazing… the hotel is right off the beach. My husband and I stay for the Easter weekend the island was packed but you wouldn’t even know that once you get to the hotel. The hotel is nice and clean we had a great stay.”

“Good location across from the ferry terminal, although that did make it busy at times it was convenient. Breakfast “buffet” isn’t actually a buffet but a waffle thing, toast, eggs, and fruit that show up when the hosts arrive in the morning, but the time varies. Room was nice and clean. Our room had a decent kitchen but there was nothing in the kitchen to cook with. No hot water at all, even after telling them about it, sink and shower had no water pressure hardly. had room was finally cleaned...
