Unlike these new self-service hotels, this hotel is the example of how a hotel should be run, with staff who are readily available, a high-quality, broad-choice breakfast, decor that is tasteful and relaxing, and clean rooms with high ceilings in a solid building. “A great place to stay to get away from the crowds and enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. Given that it is away from the city center, you will need to take taxis or rent a car to get to where you want to go. The villa was peaceful, clean, and the bottles of wine and treats in the room were such a nice touch. Lastly, thank you Cristina and Nicola for a wonderful stay! You both were so kind and very helpful answering any questions I had! Highly recommend!”

“Great for our 3 night stay. The top floor apartment had everything we needed. Double bed. Sofa bed, bathroom with large shower, cooking facilities a terrace and a view between apartments of the marina. For drivers parking was right outside. For non drivers bus service every 30 minutes from La Spezia/Portovenere. Restaurants are so close. Host waa excellent phoning to make sure we weren’t lost on our arrival by bus and providing lots of details on how to get to places. ”

“Wonderful place. Very clean and cozy room. Amazing host!! They provided wonderful breakfast, map, all the information to enjoy the town. Thank you, Carlotta :) This is definitely recommended place! Except the location. You have to take a taxi to get there. Otherwise, It takes about 25 mins by walk. If you dont mind the distance, it will be a perfect choice. Because of this location, You can see the special sea and village view. ;)”

“Check in was smooth where the host greeted us and showed us our room. The room was spacious with a double bed and a sofa bed in it. Lots of room to walk around the room. The bathroom was clean and the shower was super spacious as well, unlike other showers in Europe which are very small. The location was in the centre of the main strip, with a 10 min walk to the La Spezia Centrale train station one way, and a 10 min walk to the pier the other way. I would definitely stay here again...highly...
