Lots of restaurants nearby, walkable to several train stations. Shrine next door having a festival one of the nights we stayed so we were able to visit. The room itself was very clean, but the walls were heavily scuffed from years of guests. A fresh coat of paint would make it look much more updated and tidy. Overall great stay!

Great location

I didn't know this area very well before this trip, but it is actually a great location. Tons of local and less touristy restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel is also very close to a train station so you can get to other parts of Tokyo pretty easily. As the hotel itself, it's pretty basic but gets the job done. Clean room and professional staff.

Our favourite accommodation style choice in Japan. Western breakfast very difficult to get anywhere, so having a self catering utility in the room was just perfect. Bowls, plates and cutlery, microwave and kettle. All u need. The included washer/dryer was great. Super quiet, could run it while sleeping in same room. Detergent included too. Free drinks machine downstairs was handy, and drinks vending machine priced no higher. Great to be able to get cold beers after a long day of walking (and walking). Location good for metro and the right line to get to most places reasonably, time wise. But taxi from Tokyo station a good option with luggage.

Great room size, comfortable bed and super friendly and welcoming staff. Location is also great if you want to stay in a more "non-tourist" part oft Tokyo. Subway, a Shinto and a Buddhist temple are close and neighborhood is quite at night. Breakfast was lackluster unfortunately - only 2 options (Western & Japan style) are available and they are almost the same every day, so gets old really quick if you are staying for more than a couple of days. But this is also stated on the hotel's website. Western is some kind of frozen soup (which was more like a stew) with changing vegetables and a frozen chees/ham sandwich. Japanese was a full bento box (contents changed a little over the days) with rice and miso soup, but you had to pick it up early as they only have a limited amount available. So my advice: Skip the breakfast reservation and pick something ob from a convenience store or a café nearby. Otherwise a good place to stay in Tokyo!
