โThe glamping pods were beautiful and decently sized. The comunal toilet and shower area was kept clean and tidy. Over all it was a lovely experience. Only concern was that my 4 year old had to be restrained at all times either inside the pod, in pushchairs or in reigns as the edge of the land at entry to our pod was a steep slope, ideally this could be fenced off. When we first arrived, as a family, i mentioned to my mum that this place would be a lovely romantic getaway for a weekend however...
โMy children and I recently spent two wonderful nights at Spean Lodge. Paul is the most gracious host - he made us feel at home. Our family room was spacious and very comfortable and we were treated to a delicious breakfast each morning. For supper, thereโs a lovely restaurant by the train station. โVery, very friendly staff! They had thought of everything, and were so happy to accommodate any requests. Laundry available for free, a list of nearby restauraunts and their menus, shared areas with games. You may run into other guests, or share the breakfast area with them. "the view was astonishing. worth a one night stay. but the manager wasn't very friendly. didn't even inform when is the breakfast time or check out time etc when check-in. we asked for blanket and sheet for the sofa bed, but he unnecessarily said since we are two people staying, they didn't make the sofa bed. and reluctantly said they would send the blanket implying only blanket can be provided. but sheet and the blanket came, but i don't understand why they were reluctant to supply these cause even if we are two people, we are also free to use different bed. and the coffee pot isn't detachable and hard to plug it from where it is placed, so you have to move the whole to different place to use it. sofa bed indeed wasn't so comfortable so make sure you can handle the back sore after the night. this hotel you can say you are going for the view from your room's window. "
