"The bathrooms were not clean, the sheets had a smell to it. There were stains over the carpet in our room. There wasn't even regular cleaning done during our stay."

"Our stay at the Deerfield Embassy Suites was excellent. Easy check in. A gift bag filled with treats. Spacious room. Very gracious, helpful staff. Nice evening reception. Delicious dinner at their grill. Very good breakfast and decent room rate. We definitely would go back."

Housekeeping actually show up and clean the room during your stay - staff are professional and honest. Expectations were exceeded at this location - so well done to all involved."

"Extremely disappointing experience. We arrived at night expecting to check into our room, as the hotel’s email clearly stated it would be ready by 3:00 PM. Instead, we were told the room was still not ready and that we would have to wait even longer. After a full day of traveling, this was completely unacceptable. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the front desk staff. Rather than apologizing or trying to help resolve an issue that was entirely on the hotel’s side, they were defensive and dismissive. We were simply asking for the room we had reserved and been told would be available. Customer service is severely lacking here. The property itself also feels outdated and has a noticeable unpleasant odor throughout. Overall, this was a frustrating experience from start to finish. I would not recommend staying here. This hotel needs better management and a much stronger focus on customer service."

"The best choice I've made in this trip is to get a hotel with free parking and good rating and rent a car. I always go to Hampton inn in Loyola university area however the nicely right there was close to $500. I was able to get a suite in Renaissance Marriott and Glenview for 4 days for less than $500 total. I rented a Jeep Wrangler 2026 from route car rental for 4 days for $170. You can never get anything better than this. I owned my travel and went everywhere I wanted to go in the city of Chicago and it's suburbs."
