Unit next to ours had a very loud barking dog which woke us up on a Sunday at 7am unfortunately… and triggered our dog to bark. The walls are quite thin for noise to travel in/out. Aside from that, it was a really great studio with all one would need! It is on a working farm but whilst that means potential activity outside the door, it also means great green-space and farm animals to enjoy as well!!”

“This cottage was perfect for a long weekend with my son and his dog. It is cosy, comfortable and has a lot of character. There was everything we needed for example the kitchen was well supplied with utensils, coffee pot etc, and the place was spotlessly clean. It’s in a nature reserve with wildflower meadows, lovely setting.”

“This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place.”

“We loved the property - small but perfectly formed! It was in ideal location for visiting Dorset with day trips easily accessible; Lulworth Cove, Chesil Beach, Poole, Dorchester, Swanage and Corfe Castle to name a few. Lots of National Trust properties to visit too - particularly for Thomas Hardy and TE Lawrence.
