“The cleanliness and comfort were above what we were expecting for a "budget" priced stay. Although the property is older and a little worn, everything (even the corners) was clean and it looks like the owners/managers take pride in running a good hotel. Desk staff was especially friendly and helpful. If you need an affordable place to sleep in a good bed, this is the spot.”

“Loved this property! Beds were so comfortable, large walk-in shower and decor was amazing!”

“Room clean. Ni cold water. No staff and not available on phone”

“The jacuzzi suite was the size of a large apt. Very well maintained and clean as a whistle. The dog park and pool still open in late October are amazing amenities. Free breakfast with decent coffee, too. I will definitely stay here again.”

“Breakfast was amazing. Rooms? Ok.”

“Our host mentioned he does not receive messages from Expedia postings. So if you are not receiving check-in information, you might want to find another way to contact them. The property is lovely. The Treehouse was perfect for my granddaughter and me.”

“My guy & I decided that this was the perfect stay for us: I wanted a B&B but he doesn't like 'staying in a bedroom in someone's house'. We had our own large cottage that has a wonderful, quirky vibe & breakfast that you pick up on a large tray & bring back to your cottage! It is located on bend in the Missouri River & the view is breathtaking. It was the perfect location, too, halfway between the river town of Washington & Hermann in wine country, both fun places to visit.”

“Clean and quiet. What’s not to like”

“We love staying there and getting away”

“Excellent”

“The cottages were very nice and clean. The area was very quiet and quaint. My wife and I felt like we were back in Germany. The free sampling coupons to the wine tasting and bourbon tasting were a big savings. The air conditioning was spot on! I will stay here again! Hermann is a beautiful part of Missouri! The views were breathtaking of the land, hills and the Missouri River!!”

“With the virtual staff, I was able to easily access my room. Room was very contemporary and comfortable. The only issue was very noisy neighbors who partied late into the night.”

“Staying at Stone Haus was like visiting a distant relative. The owners were friendly and inviting. Their dog Mandy was also friendly. The place was filled with various antique pieces and paintings. It made us feel right at home. The breakfast we were served could have fed twice as many people. We did not use the hot tub though it was offered to us. Its location offered a quiet neighborhood and lovely scenery. It truly felt like home. the experience was lovely.”
