“We really enjoyed our overnight stay at West Lodge. We had a tranquil garden room so there was no outside noise at all. We also enjoyed being one of two couples in the dining room. Upon ringing the bell the owner arrived promptly and took our orders for cooked breakfast. It soon arrived and was of excellent quality. We will definitely book again if we are in the locality.”
“Fantastic stay. Gareth was very welcoming and friendly when we checked in. Nothing was to
much trouble for him. He got me a hairdryer, iron and ironing board when I asked him. Parking was £6.50 for 24 hrs. We stayed 2 nights. Ideal place to stay. Between the hub and shopping centre. AC was fab in our room. No kettle in room but you can purchase tea/ coffe downstairs from the machine which is £2.50 ”
“The Hotel is in a lovely location, right next to the River Thames.
The Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.
The Room was lovely and clean with a great view of the River
We stayed at the Hotel for two nights and had Dinner both nights. The Food was really nice and again, service was good.
If I was being picky, it would’ve been nice to have had some complimentary Bottled Water in the Room on arrival.
I would certainly stay here again and plan to do so in a few months time.”

“This is a lovely historic hotel and we enjoyed our stay apart from one thing (but this was promptly rectified) : initially we had a front bedroom facing the road which was busy and noisy all through the night. Fortunately we were able to upgrade to a rear bedroom which was wonderfully spacious and with much better facilities. The staff were very pleasant, polite and efficient, the hotel was fascinating and well-kept, and we would certainly stay there again.”
