“We booked at last minute stay here to break up our long drive. While this Inn may feel a bit outdated in comparison to larger chain motels- the staff were very friendly and the rooms were quite clean. There is a small outdoor pool that was clean and our kid's enjoyed it and there was not a big crowd. Just about a10 minute drive to Mayberry attractions- and easy accessto I-77”

There was only one paper cup in the room for 2 guests. The bathtub was so stained it looked like it had not been cleaned. The toilet needed to be worked on as you had to flush twice to get it to flush. The refrigerator needed to be defrosted as the freezer part was almost full of ice and looked as it had not been wiped out in sometime. The...

“Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows.
