“I absolutely love the Florida Keys, and even though we only spent one day here, it was such a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the amenities are fantastic. With multiple pools, a relaxing atmosphere, and amazing drinks, it was easy to unwind. The piña colada by the pool was hands down one of the best I've ever had! 🍹🌴 The only downside was the amount of sargassum on the beach. It was quite heavy and had a strong odor, which made it less enjoyable....

“Although the location appears to be good, you have to travel 20+ minutes in either direction to find any restaurants or decent stores (not including the restaurant on site). Unless you plan to stay at the resort all the time then it can be really inconvenient, especially for breakfast. “Recently had a family reunion at Matacumbe Resort staying in 3 different units. All three were different and unique which was fun. The pool was amazing and well maintained. The playground kept the kids busy. The boat dock area was convenient but tight.”
