“We used the hotel for a bride and groom and some guests. We didn’t use the Duchess for the wedding ceremony, but the staff were very happy to make a special occasion for the happy couple. They also accommodated a large party of guests and non-guests for brunch the next day. Parking is easy and free. The hotel is modern and stylish, with lots of extra welcoming touches. We liked the mini books in the room and option of a rainfall or power shower. A really great place to stay. ”

There is a rainfall separate shower in the bathroom too, handy for both of us getting ready at the same time. “A beautiful pub with stunning garden and setting, great food and beer selection. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Rooms are a little old but still very comfy and have everything you need. I stayed for business in the area but a great place for a holiday stop as well! ”
