“We loved ot here and i have nothing bad to say about it the service was 100% the breakfast was great and even when we arrived and we couldn't open our window nothing was to.much trouble and he just got on and did it me and my other half are definitely going to make coming here a regular thing amd the afternoon tea was excellent thank you and see you again soon ”

“The room is immaculate, there are nice touches like ground coffee and a french press, first time I have had this even in £500+ a night rooms. There is plenty of free parking on the street outside. The only thing to be mindful of is that there is a big step both into the room and the bathroom for those with reduced mobility like myself - this is in addition to the 6 steps i was aware of. There is no aircon or fan so we opened the bedroom and bathroom windows and it was fine. Old school air...

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless and had all the facilities we could possibly ask for including a secure private garden section with decking area, perfect for the dogs. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all consisting of excellent locally sources ingredients expertly cooked. The property was conveniently located a short drive from Chatsworth House, Bakewell and a number of other tourist attractions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again or to recommend to others.”

“Midweek trip to Buxton and surrounding area. Host, Louise was extremely helpful before during and after our stay. The rooms are modern, well equipped and very comfortable for short stays. The property is very well located for public transport and just a short walk to Buxton attractions We would highly recommend ”

“Stayed here for 3 nights recently. It's a family owned business, with a good selection of local real ales. Everyone very friendly, cooked breakfast started each day on the right footing. Dog friendy - and he appreciated his own sausage each morning. Great location for walking - Kinder Scout and Derwent Water a short drive or Buxton, Bakewell or Matlock - perfect break ”
