“Lovely place to stay the night whilst we were visiting Chatsworth House. Nice and quiet ample parking. The room was really clean and everything we needed was provided even a fan which was a god send as the weather was sweltering. Had a perfect nights sleep. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly both at the reception and in the restaurant. We had both and evening meal and breakfast the food was lovely, hot and well prepared. “Really impressive building, architecturally fully of history. Lovely, welcoming and super hospitable and respectful staff. A bit of a family feel to the place. Warm, comfy, spacious and great shower. Super accommodating of dogs with treats, bowls and bins. Dogs even permitted in the restaurant! I didn’t try the restaurant but breakfast menu looked lovely. In terms of value for money - excellent. Highly recommend. ”

“mostly positive stay at this hotel. Although parking was quite tight, I managed to find a space without too much trouble. Check-in was fast and efficient, and the room was clean, tidy, and free of any odours. The shower was a highlight—powerful with impressively hot water. My only real complaint is that the floors were extremely creaky throughout the building, which could be a bit distracting. ”
