"The room I had was clean enough but there was some peeling paint around the window and a very slight musty smell. Location to get out and about was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. "

"We used this hotel as a base to explore the Peak District. The pub and the rooms were excellent and exceeded our expectations. One observation was the iron supplied needle cleaning."

"The staff was amazing but the app showed it on the water canal and was misleading !! The staff Cristina made up for it ! She was extremely kind and gracious to me for being all alone in the UK going to the Crick boat and music festival! "

"The property did provide limited car parking which was useful. Maybe next time though I should read the entry better as this isnt a Bed and Breakfast (B&B as stated clearly in the title). They no longer provide breakfasts which was slightly inconvenient especially as there was no kettle in the room. "

"We came for 4 days to go to Download festival and it was perfect. The staff are all lovely.. especially Emma! Always helpful, even leaving out cardboard for our extremely muddy boots. The walk along the canal is beautiful too. Highly recommend this place."

"After a last minute trip for my daughters birthday and a quick phone call with John, we booked three rooms. Upon arrival John met us and showed us the rooms and gave us some information about the local area. Rooms were spot on, amazing location and a quality price. As a commuter, I do not often leave feedback as I stop out quite a lot, however the family rooms are amazing and I will be back again with my family!"
