The Vale of Belvoir (pronounced Beever) is a large area of agricultural land bounded by long hills, one of which I was standing on when I took this photo. The shallow ridge in the middle distance is typical. The Vale villages are built on these ridges.

The room was fine. The staff not so much though. The check-in staff member was not very friendly, nor overly helpful when asked about parking. Thankfully I will not have to return there anytime soon.
