"Perfect for a 3 hour stay before heading to the airport "

"Hotel suited our needs, a few nights visiting family was basic though, beds not very comfy so glad only staying 3 nights, room hadn’t been hoovered, cobwebs all up no the walls and a good few months old, no attention to detail when room Had been cleaned We were are the ground floor corridor smelt very damp, carpet all lumpy needs re fitting I didn’t raise these with the site as it was clear that the hotel was very very under staffed, and the the ones that were working were trying their...

"It is a good place to be if you need to store and reheat some of your food (it has a microwave). However, you may be stuck using one bedsheet throughout your stay if you are staying for over 7 days"

"We arrived to a very warm welcome and a super clean bedroom and bathroom. The reception manager gave us a lovely tip for a walk along the river to the Cathedral too!"

"I’m not sure why I did not know that I would have a shared bathroom, but it was never cleaned and wish I knew this was the case. The place is very old and a little scary, but the staff there are super friendly and helpful. It’s like a hostel where people live there… full time? Maybe halfway house?"

"The property is very conveniently located to allow great access to all the Cambridge sights. The room was lovely and well-appointed with teas, coffee and even hot chocolate. The property is beautiful and allows for great walks in their green space. The staff were definitely helpful though sometimes with a slightly detached attitude. That is the only criticism I would have. "

"Decent hotel for an overnight stay"

"Islington is not the most impressively clean city I've been in, but it was certainly convenient to West Stow Iron Age Village and Sutton Hoo (and no doubt many other spots in the area). The biggest problem was checking in. Although the proprietor was eventually able to contact me through WhatsApp (which I only coincidentally had installed on a phone) I was afraid that we wouldn't be able to check in when my repeated attempts (including International Long Distance telephone call) to contact them...

"Used this accommodation as a base to attend the R1 big weekend in Luton. Pricing was set to take advantage of this event, (fair enough), and it fulfilled the purpose well. "

"Really impressed with this Hotel, only marginally more expensive than a travelodge but free parking until 10pm on Day of departure. Easy walking distance of the City Centre and next to both the Plantation Garden and the Roman Catholic Cathedral. Experience was more of a serviced apartment than a hotel with Fridge, Microwave, crockery and sink in a mini kitchen. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. As this is an independent hotel would strongly support to encourage local businesses."

"Room was nice and big and clean with comfy single beds. Bathroom was small and hard to move around in and toilet seat was worn and if staying Friday and saturday night you can hear loud music from nearby clubs so bring some earplugs but otherwise I enjoyed my stay here. "

"This is a clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay. The free parking is a 5 minute walk and town a 10 minute walk. "

"Our stay here was fine for the 2 nights we were there. We did have an issue with food on the first night as we arrived on a Sunday late afternoon and the pub next door was shut . We couldn't arrange anything else in the area as Taxi's were impossible to get hold of. We survived... and the 2nd night we ate at the pub and that was great."
