“Firstly the hotel is on a small hill and takes about a 10mins uphill walk to reach. not too bad if you don’t have heavy suitcases to trawl. The check-in was easy and quick and as we travelled in the quiet period, it was all pleasant. the room was average size the balcony facing the sea was wonderful with views of the sea and mountains. the room however had dust piling up around the surfaces, the shower head was broken, the bathroom looked like it needed a though clean and the bedsheets had...

“This was our first hotel experience as a couple, as we normally hire a villa, car and fend for ourselves. However, family tragedies dictated that we needed to escape and be “looked after” in order to de-stress, rest and recharge our batteries after six weeks of heartache. To a large extent, the Karavados Beach Hotel allowed us to do that, but ….. there were a few things that could’ve been better - let’s get those out of the way first …… The main disappointment, and not the hotel’s fault per se,...

“The hotel is stunning, all white with a subtle grandeur, perfectly located on the Lassi strip, conveniently positioned to bars and restaurants. The receptionist (South African not New Zealand) makes things happen, excels in her role, professional from the outset. Our room overlooked the sea and pool …it was the perfect stay for our final night of our Kefalonia adventure…thank you Nick & Caz.”

“The view from our balcony was outstanding. Gorgeous waters with access just across the street for swimming. Accommodations were spotless. Everything you need for a wonderful stay was in the unit. 15 minute easy walk to Fiscardo town. Anthony and family really do a fantastic job to create a complete and wonderful base for your holiday. My wife and I truly think the place was perfect!”

“Your have to cross the street and you are on the beach. There are sufficient umbrellas and chairs available. Beach and water are very clean. We were in the newer building at the end of the Hotel complex. The room was comfortable and calm. ”
