"We stayed for 11 nights, and my 18-month-old baby thoroughly enjoyed all the areas. We loved the drinks and the staff was very friendly. The best restaurant for sure is Cor and Don. The buffet also has many options. The only downside we noticed after several nights was the presence of rusted appliances in the room such as the door handle, trash can, ligths, all the gold stuff you see in the rooms are rusted. One important point to note is that if you sleep with the air conditioning below 21...

"The staff was accommodating and the rooms was perfect. I booked an ocean front room which was big enough for my family member and me and was giving us the calming peace we needed. I also bought the breakfast package with the booking and it came in handy. It was fulfilling and enough to pull through until lunch. The property was also around some great food spots which wasn't a long drive nor walk away. I would book this hotel again!"

"The resort is conveniently located on Mambo Beach, has four restaurants and beside the aquarium, stores and more restaurants. The staff was attentive to my needs including a medical emergency. The breakfast buffet could use a little more variety. The working cats could use a little more attention. "

"Great snorkeling at property. Nice pool and the restaurants were excellent. Great location on the island as well if you have a car. My one complaint and it is a small one. They have a Bocce ball course but the lost the little white ball and didn’t replace. For the love god buy a few extra😀"

"The stay at the Papagayo villas is a comfort away from home. The villas are quiet and peaceful and have everything you could need during your stay. The salt water infinity pool at the hotel was also a great feature. Really love that you can share all of the hotel amenities. "

We reached out to the front desk and the golf shop via email and phone. We only were able to communicate with the golf shop via phone and the prices quoted over the phone and posted on the website were different at the resort…When we brought up the issue to management they simply said the “the price is the price” …that...
