โI stayed 2 nights in the Seaview Hotel in July 2025 - on arrival, I was struck by the age and traditional appearance of the building, and wondered how such a small property could offer rooms. Inside, it's gorgeous - a lot of money has been spent on developing the property, and very thoughtful touches have been added to the rooms. It was extremely comfortable, and the food in the bistro was excellent. Highly recommended!โ
โReally conformable stay at fife lodge hotel. It felt more luxurious than other accommodations we have stayed in on our trip, staff service was excellent. We stayed in the executive double room and the extra space this room offers I would highly recommend. The bed was so comfy and it is in a good location to explore the surrounding areas. โ
โLoved my stay at Ferryhill House. The staff was lovely, and the pub restaurant was great. Loved having a drink outside on their patio. I hadnโt realized breakfast was included which was a nice surprise. My room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was especially nice and up-to-date. I walked back to the hotel after dark from the bus station solo and felt perfectly safe. Just a note: It is an older hotel and there isnโt an elevator. โRoom was spacious, and quiet. People of the town , Tarland, are super nice and helpful. Breakfast delicious, and a lot of food. The service was above and beyond. Also, the dinners are fabulous if you decide to eat at the restaurant downstairs! We hope to be back!โ
โMy daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location, nestled in its own tree filled garden, was relaxing and the hotel itself still retained the charm of the family home it was. We ate in the restaurant: the food was excellent, plenty of choice for two vegetarians like us, and the staff were very helpful. We also tried some cocktails which were also excellent. Our stay was relaxing, enjoyable and good value for money.โ
