“Rooms were great, exceeding expectations considering its location in the countryside and cheap price. However, the owner should not be so aggressive about inconveniences caused by guests. If he thought we were too loud in our rooms, the owner should have simply said so. Barging in to our room without any warning or properly announcing himself(he just opened the door and came in his bathrobes) was unacceptable. Proceeding to then waving/pointing the end of his walking stick at his guests' faces...

“Great parking, internet was not working properly during our visit, and not all the 'on tap beers" were available at the time we were ordering. I wouldn't let this put you off though, as I have visited several times over the years, and it is a classy out of town place to spend a relaxing overnight, or weekend stay. The Atholl in Kings Gate Aberdeen, would be an excellent 'in-town' alternative with excellent food/bar at more affordable prices though.”

“The service of the staff were excellent in service at the bar and service of my evening meal and breakfast. But unfortunately when I went into my room it was very cold and the heating in the room did not seam to work I needed to keep the bathroom door open to try and let the radiator in that room to try and help heat the bedroom. When I said about this I was told it was because I was a last minute booking so they never had the heating on in the room. The next issue I had was there was not hot...
