Wakeup Copenhagen Carsten Niebuhrs Gade

Wakeup Copenhagen Carsten Niebuhrs Gade

8/10 Good
"I chose the hotel because it is close to the train station and decently priced. I was very happy with my choice. On my way to the station, I discovered a fantastic coffee shop (original coffee). The hotel is well located for town as well. There were plenty of bikes to borrow, but I chose to walk everywhere. The rooms are very small although they do have two chairs in them as well as a desk. There were three hangers on a rail. You can hear everything from the bathroom in the room, so if you are going with someone, make sure you know them well. The walls between the rooms are thin, but everyone seemed aware of this and considerate."

"We stayed in the larger room with an amazing view from the 9th floor. It is just big enough, nothing extra. All facilities you need, even a little desk to work on. I would say the only minus was having to climb over my husband out of bed since the bed is up to the wall. Actually under the window, which gave me a beautiful view before sleeping and waking up! The breakfast buffet at the top floor, was very good and the coffee was excellent. We really enjoyed sipping that good coffee with the amazing view to all directions. The location is perfect, you have everything you need for exploring center Copenhagen. We loved strolling down by the water. The Central Train station is next door, with easy access to trains and the metro if you want to travel further. The staff was helpful and nice. So we can highly recommend this hotel unless you crave a really big room for yourself. The design of the hotel is also visually pleasing which adds to the experience."

"The hotel was nice, rooms are small with little room for luggage and walking. Great location to train. Hotel offers lockers to store luggage for a fee. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Biggest disappointment no AC, the night was warm and muggy. The rooms did not have fans to circulate the air and there was no breeze from the windows. Sweating and sleeping is not ideal."

"Such a lovely modern, clean and well situated hotel. We had a lovely view from our room of the bay, we could see planes landing at the airport, little sailing boats in the bay and large cargo ships further out. And a view of the Oresund bridge to Sweden. The buffet breakfast was superb. Our children had a lovely time."

"Great value hotel for Copenhagen. My only one issue was the bathroom floods. But besides that perfect for the price range, would stay again."

"Gorgeous hotel for a very reasonable price. The vibe was lovely and the rooms were a nice size with good clean facilities. The pool and courtyard were fab. Very walkable to the centre, takes about 20 mins but we were happy to walk although you can hire bikes at the hotel. Very pleasant stay would def recommend"
