"Our stay was disappointing overall. While we visited during spring break, the hotel was extremely overcrowded, making it hard to enjoy anything. The waterpark was fine for the first couple of hours, but quickly became too packed, with very long lines everywhere. Food and drinks were overpriced ($40 for two funnel cakes and fries, $25 for a basic frozen drink). Parking was $25 per day, and a $150 deposit was required, which I am still waiting to be refunded. Cleanliness was a major issue. The entrance and lobby had an unpleasant odor, hallways smelled strongly of weed, and there was visible garbage in some areas. Our room did not meet expectations. It smelled musty, floors looked dirty, and there were serious hygiene concerns. The bed appeared to have no proper mattress cover, just a sheet. There was a poop stained toilet, a used bar of soap put back in the box, and leftover trash. The room felt so unclean that I had to wipe things down myself before we could use it. Overall, overcrowding, poor cleanliness, and high costs made this an unpleasant stay. I would not return."

"The Golden Nugget has seen better days. The only area with any modernization is the casino floor. The new slot machines are horrible they just take your money with virtually no winning. The room are old and haven’t been updated in many years."
